Front Length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the bottom edge of the garment.
Shoulder Width
Measure across the back of the garment from shoulder seam to shoulder seam or from edge to edge.
Chest
Lay the garment flat and measure straight across from armpit to armpit or one inch below the armhole. Double this measurement.
Bottom Opening
Measure the bottom hem straight across from one edge to the other, then double the measurement. For garments with a curved hemline, measure straight along the garment’s edge.
Sleeve Length
Measure from the center-back neck along the shoulder seam to the armhole seam. Pivot at the shoulder/armhole and continue along the center of the sleeve to the cuff. If there is no shoulder or armhole seam, measure from the center-back neck, pivot at the top of the shoulder, and continue straight down to the sleeve edge.
